  1. Hi , I was just browsing through the net Searching for some information and came across your blog. I am impressed by the info that you have on this blog. It shows how well you understand this topic. I saved this blog, I will come back for more. You, my friend, Rock!!!

  2. I’m impressed, I have to say. Really rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you will have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the difficulty is one thing that not sufficient individuals are speaking intelligently about. I am very joyful that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing referring to this.

  3. Would you recommend disconnecting your Internet connection when running an antivirus scan? The reason I ask is temp files are constantly being written to while browsing the Internet. It’s really feasible that some thing gets missed during the scan if you don’t disconnect the connection?

    1. Hello and thank you for your compliment. During the past 2 1/2 years I have worked on approximately 4,000 systems and all of them remotely and with internet connection. You do not need to disconnect from the Internet while running an Antivirus scan.

      My suggestion would be:
      1) Delete your Browsers temporary files, history, cookies
      2) Delete your Java cache
      3) Update you Antivirus definitions (minimum weekly, I’ve seen some companies come out with up to 8 new definitions daily to keep things up to date)
      4) Run a full / comprehensive scan with you Antivirus program (minimum weekly)
NOTE: most companies out there have several different levels of their product. Usually a free or trial version, a low end Antivirus version and then a full Antivirus Anti-spyware (AVAS) Suite

This would be my initial suggestion. Please feel free to ask my anything else!
Thanks for visiting my site and comments!!!
